Breakfast Grill

This is a good meal to start out the day. Add a few chips, and some fresh fruit, and serve it up as a brunch. No way can you miss out on this delicious meal. 

  • 8 slices whole wheat bread
  • 1/2 lb Deli American or Swiss Cheese
  • 1/4 lb thinly sliced deli ham
  • 1 large egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 c. mixed fresh fruit, cut up
  1. For sandwiches, evenly divide cheese and ham, place on 4 slices of bread, and top with remaining bread slices.
  2. Combine egg, milk and mustard in shallow pie plate or dish, blend well. Dip sandwiches into egg mixture, turning to coat both sides.
  3. Heat large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Cook sandwiches until golden brown on both sides and cheese is melted.
  4. Serve with fresh fruit, and chips.
