Everyone knows how hard it is to keep up, especially when you have a job to go to.  So try this recipe, which uses your crockpot to cook the hardest part of your meal. You will have dinner ready in a flash, and your hungry family will be happily delighted.

Crock Pot Spaghetti Sauce

  • 1lb ground beef
    1 onion chopped
    1/4 teas minced garlic
    2 (1lb) cans cut tomatoes
    1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
    1 (12oz) tomato paste
    1c beef bouillon
    2 T parsley flakes
    1 T brown sugar
    1 t oregano
    1 t sweet basil
    1 t salt
    1/4 t black pepper
Brown beef in skillet and drain off fat. Add meat and remaining ingredients to crock pot and cook for 6-8hrs on low.

When you get home. Simply put on a pot of spaghetti. That takes no time at all. Add some garlic bread to that, and you will have a full meal ready to serve.

Pot crocks are a wonderful time saver. I use one all the time. Did you know that you can even bake potatoes in a crock pot? Well, you can. They come out very good too. You will of course want to add some crumpled up foil paper at the bottom of the crock pot, then add your potatoes. Put the lid on, and turn on the crock pot. Forget about them, and they will be ready in time for dinner. Serve and enjoy.
